Kody: "Do I have school tomorrow?"
Me: "Yep."
Chloe': "Is today Monday?"
Me: "Yep."
Chloe': "It's Martin Luther King Day!!!"
Kody: "Yeah, and without him some of your classmates wouldn't be able to go to class!"
Me: "None of you would have been able to go to class."
Kody: "WHAT? We're a different color?"
Me: "Yes you are. We all are."
Kody: "BOYCOT THE BUSES!!!!!"
...my innocent child. I just had to giggle ^_^ I tell you though; I've always been nervous about showing my kids our history. School has popped open the lid. I just have to follow up. Anyway...HB Mr. King!!!
:) hehehe

she said, "i'm kinda like cappuccin, right momma?"

Aw, that made me smile! So cute that you got this little conversation down. That's my favorite thing about blogging and scrapping! :)

I agree with you on this one, I'm always scared too, it seems we never learn from History and I'm scared to show my child that after hundreds of years we keep making the same mistakes.
And yet I'm trying to teach her to only learn from her mistakes.
HI STORY!! LOL
