Well, 'uncle' Taurean left about an hour ago. He had a good time with us. He's a brainiac like DerRick. He's in school to be a heart surgeon. I'm like whoa! And on top of that; he works the night shift. So yeah...he really needed this little vacay :)
Speaking of little...I was on a teeny creative hight today. I Started on new digital brush sets. Subject: 'time'. I Like how everything is turning out so far ^-----^ And then I wanted to dive into some October Afternoon! There are many OA stamp sets that I would LOVE to work with that I don't have yet. So tonight I chose a few houses to play with :)
home
This is the first of the teeny weeny books I made tonight. It's coptic stitched and I used watercolor, again, to color in the houses. Kody helped me pick colors :) So yeah...it's only 3 X 4 and 84 pages! I used part of a binder's divider for the front and back covers.
[supplies: Pattern paper, definition sticker, acrylic stamps ( houses, square): October Afternoon; Watercolors: Grumbacher; Paint: Making Memories: Ink: StayzOn; Thread: And Bear Makes 3; Watercolor paper: Canson; OTHER: Machine stitching]
Here's the second one I made this evening.

I used some clocks...yep broke open the seal again. Now they're going to be an almost all my projects for a while Ha hAAAAAAAAAAA......

About that shop of mine.............I'm so fickle about it. Always changing and rearranging. I have some ideas of new items to put in but need to work it out. I'm so eager to get back to it but I want to be ready. It's been a long while. So all of you who have recently joined my newsletter...thank you. And know that one will be coming soon :)
I hope you guys are having a wonderful + relaxing labor day weekend. ^-------^ I'm about to take a shower. SO in the mood for that! But, before I go I want to leave off with the...

Hi Karla! I am in love with your books! Have you any links to book binding, so a girl can get started on this? I love the one you have with the different colour signatures in the spine!

Again-your work is super duper amazing. I wish I had half the talent. I'm still trying to figure out how to write my on my photos (I don't have Photo Shop) and how to make my photos smaller then the 4 x 6. Any ideas for a very untalented newbie?

Hi Karla - watching Top Design AND reading Twilight. I just had to see what all the fuss is about. I'm almost ready for book two..... Just had to stop by for a little dose of inspiration and you always come through. I've never done any book binding but you make me want to try it. Those are beautiful. I think I NEED some October Road too. he! he!
