There are so many things to look at on the web. I think we all kind of gravitate towards certain things more that others. And often times find whole 'new worlds' that we find interesting and commit to explore from that moment on.

Wait...teee heeee.....ok what in the world did I just say? lol! I was half paying attention to this post and partly watching DerRick and the girls play way to close to my computer.....

Alrighty so yes, I'm inspired by so many different things on the WWW. I never went to designs school or art school but I'm super into graphic designs. I love the effort, the steps it takes to make something super neat-o, and the uniqueness of the artists. Digital/graphic design encompasses a lot of different things. Like text, photos + the manipulation there of, handmade design, logo design...... So I've got some art that popped out at me and I hope you like them as much as I do :)

This graphic reminds me of an extra juicy Fall day :) It's super fun. The colors and the way it flips upside down but not...I love it!

Wow...now this is so neat! It tells a clear story of this girl in the middle about to go on a journey through, what looks to me, like the most awesome other world ever ^_^ I love everything about this. So well done and such vision.

So ...tonight I just thought I would play a bit. And started on making the word 'play' a little more interesting...

Well, yeah...this was just play. I was going to finish it but don't think I will. I was wanting to do a little something with one color. I chose green because of the vines. I really like making things look outrageous. I mean think about it...what if you could make anything in your mind come to life through art? ....anything....

So I finialy finished the 'Color Sploosh' graphic I was playing with the other day

I really liked how it turned out ^_^ I will for sure do more and more of them just like painting faces yes? :) But yeah, I don't have any frames to put it in. And even before all that I would love to have a 'legit' studio...a place of my own to make my own. SO I thought if I wasn't going to put it on the wall then I at least have to do something creative with it. So I went back to old times and made a hand bound journal :)

  So glad I made one again. I can't believe we are going from a family of 2 to 3 to 5 to 7! Must be lucky I guess lol! So if you like this one then you might like another one I made a while back

old relevance

So today was filling out the school forms day. I tell ya what...sometimes I forget things when filling out those papers. Simple things like what county the kids were born in. Or even how much they weighed when they were born. I mean man...those things you don't think about on a daily basis you know what I mean? So I'm sitting at my desk thinking all hard n' stuff. Like I got this...I know this.....    lol, too funny. Anyhoo...I just think it's pretty interesting how Kody, the girls and the boys will be born in different states.

I've been thinking about three things lately. Color, scraplifting and miniBOOKS. I've been searching the web for this reason or that and there are some really neat sites where the color just slaps me in the face. LOVE it when I find gorgeous colors in beautiful combinations. Here are some color combos that I found which are pretty cool

 

And lately I've been surfing layouts too! I've been finding so many that truly inspire me. I was even browsing my own gallery and love the old stuff I've done. Seems to me like I had more time then because some of the things I did I know took a bit to do. I would love to start scraplifting layouts or parts of layouts. Even if it's from my own gallery. That idea sounds fabulous!!! It's just one of the ways to get the juices flowing at a steady pace yeah?

Then there are miniBOOKS. Dude...when was the last time I started and finished one of those things? I don't want to make them things of the past for me. I want to do one again! I was thinking about all the things that DerRick and I have been going through the past months. Alot. But man we sure are a team. Like we fit ya know? And I feel like I can fly as long as he's there with me. I think when I did this album

 

We were going through some not-so-easy times. And I wanted to tell him that we can do it. I think that now the message would change a bit. It would be more along the lines of blessings and look how far we've come. but yeah...I want to create a mini. Yep...it's true ^_^

So yeah, I'm about to head out and pick up a not-sick-anymore boy of mine. This weekend should be a doozy...a special holiday and 2 birthdays :)
