Hello guys. Been a while. As you know, the family got sick again. ALL of my eldest children got the flu. Kody got it the worst with a 104 temperature a few nights back. I was like oh Lordy. Here we go. Everyone looked horrible. No offense but ya know. It was not cute. But now the coast is clear. This is the second day all the kids were at school in a long time so I'm super happy they are feeling better.
Tonight my Mom treated Kody and I to a dinner and a movie. We saw Michael Jackson's "This Is It." It was perfect. I adore Michael. Always have. And I thought I was going to cry my eyeballs out but instead I just felt happiness. There were times when I was sad, sure, but it wasn't like I thought it would be. It was a joyous feeling that I got when I saw this film and the most important thing is that I think millions got his message he had been trying to convey all these years. So yes, if you are a fan then go see this movie. It's like required ok? lol...
After the movie we got some Red Lobster. Finally ^_^ That boy has been on me about going forever. I think we all can remember the incident last time. Remember? Old McDonald and the F word? Yeah, no cussing tonight but we both could have passed on the food. It wasn't that good and Kody was NOT having it at all. He didn't freak out and run but he definitely did not like the taste of sea food. We had crab legs and when them big honkers came to the table I was like OMG...look at those CLAWS!!! I mean you would have thought they would pick out the smallest claws out of the bunch as to not scare the little 6 year old boy right? Oh no. I mean seriously, it was actually scary. So after he denounced the sea food I tried hiding the crab legs under some napkins so that he wouldn't have to stare at th monstrosities. Yeah, that was futile. Those suckers were poking aal out from under those napkins. So much so that he couldn't help but keep his attention on them and I kept trying to talk about the movie to distract him. But as you know...curiosity always prevails and he began questioning me. "Are crabs from the sea? Or a make-believe sea?" "Were they alive?" "How come we eat them" I was like o man.....
It was a good time. We laughed so much I almost peed my pants. He always makes me laugh...
Now, I have been MIA from my blog for a bit and really haven't had the chance to celebrate my Blogovesary nor Digital Scrapbooking Day. So I would love to give out a freebie for you all to get those creative juices flowing. This freebie has a bit of a Thanksgiving flavor to it. I hope you enjoy
There is a simple page template in there, some brushes and two punch out designs. It's really neat to use your scalloped circle punches on those and make elements + tags with them. Use circle punches or scissors too. Or love 'em like they are and slap them in a digi page ^_^ I'm going to play tomorrow! You can download this kit below:
Download Kd_Thanksgiving_Freebie11.12.09
Also, I will be sending out my newsletter soon! You can sign up via my sidebar.
I hope you guys are having a wonderful start to this holiday season. Enjoy each other and take care. Be right back

Oh, goodness, I never would have thought of crab legs terrifying a small child. Although, my dd sure is fascinated by them in the grocery store. They are pretty creepy!
Thanks so much for the freebie. I have lots of great T-day photos. Glad everyone is feeling better, too...my dd missed 4 days of school the week she had the flu (and a 102 temp)...take care!
