I'm having a great time watching the Olympics. Aside from all the tragedy that took place, we have been very proud of our teams. Kody keeps yelling out "USA, USA..." He's having a BLAST!!! Now, right now I'm watching Olympic boxing. I have a hard time accepting this as a true sport. Only because it's ultimately not good for your brain ya know? I mean I'm watching half cringing at the same time. I always thought that it's the same thing as getting a glove and hitting yourself in the heard a bunch of times until you can't stand up anymore. Can't be good....
Anyhoo...I did a 6 X 6'r today for someone and I thought I would try something new.
Obviously the circles and butterfly are nothing new :) But the beads are. Me likes them a lot ^-----^ I also worked the $9.20 typewriter I got from the Goodwill. I love it but it doesn't feed very well. I tried to do a paragraph and um? It turned out all kinds of crazy lol! O..and speaking of butterflies; my girl Lisa is a MASTER at everything (literally) and she makes these embroidered butterflies that are stunning! Check them out
brows her whole site for that matter. You can be there for days!

About a week before CHA I wanted to change up my camera strap. I did a 'cozy' before made out of one of Kody's button down shirts and it was pretty cool. But I wanted something permanent and more secure.
I found this cute fabric at a little itty bitty fabric store close by. I thought I would give it a whirl. Now...I didn't have any real instructions on how to do this accept for to break the threads in the black leather pieces that attach the strap to the hardware...stuff....thingamagigies. Ok...so that's what I did, pulled out my iron and prayed. It turned out perfect! Now if I wanted a change...I can make as many cozies as I feel like and they can go over this one. Nothing like starting off with a good base yeah? lol!!!
So my next trial came from me imagining in my chair. I just sat and wondered how I can make an easy book with one sheet of paper. I also wanted to be able to try a different kind of binding with it as well.
Now this isn't rocket science but I love the little sucker! I don't even have pages on the inside or anything. I just wanted to know if it would work. I FINALLY used this Stampin' Up! punch I've had like forever. It's nice when you know your not wasting perfectly good things. The thickness of the spine is too small for what I wanted but we can always improvise :) Most definitely going to make more of these ^-------^ But I'm leaving the black holy stuff alone! lol!!!

So yeah...I'm hungry and my feet are icicles. I would love some BBQ chicken. Just in the mood. I hope you guys have a relaxing day. Oh...and that reminds me....
THIS little girl drove me nutszoids today! Whew....she is somethin' else. Definitely had her spaz moments but I couldn't help kissing those subtle dimples anyway :)
