Ok so it was time to put my girls to bed. It had been that time for 45 mins ;) I let them pick out a story for me to read to them like I normally do. They pick it out...I sit down in the red plastic ( hard as a mug ) chair. I was doing good. No problems. No fumbling over words. Non-a-that. And then I read the last sentence...
"I love you right up to the moon- and back"
BWAAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.............
I balled like a girl who's scrap room got blown up. I was strait damaged by all that sweetness. I couldn't hold it in...shoot I didn't know the tears were coming. They both had their finger in their mouth like mommy? Wassamatter?
If you guys don't know what book I'm talking about then here ya go...
Yeah...the sad part is that I read it before without all that drama. So you probably guessed what time of month it is lol! Hey...hey.....just being real ^-------^
On a more happy note :)...I did a layout tonight. In just 30 mins!!!
my desk this week
Wooo eeeee...desk has been a monsta lately! I have this and those all about with wacky scribblits all on 'em. Ok...so it's late and I'm talking gibberish. So anyhoo...yeah...I just took four doodlers and slapped them on a page. Stitches galore and done! I challenge you to scrape up some randomness from your desk and have at it ^-----^ Oh and by the way...I had no idea dialog was suppose to be dialogue! You all must think I'm a weirdo lol!!!!!
Alright...might fall asleep on keyboard..
-out

Wonderful book, and oh so cool layout!

What a great layout! I would have never thought to do something like that ... but you're right, sometimes it's important to capture the randomness on your desk. (Hmmm, and how many of Stacey's biz cards do I have lying on my desk right now?!!)Great idea!

I love that book, first couple times I read it though, I had a hard time getting past their names. Little Nutbrown Hare? I dunno, just thought they could have made it simpler. LOL

That dang book. That was the theme of my baby girl's room before she was even born. (SHe's almost 10 now.) I found the prints before we moved and about cried my eyes out too!
I love the mental image of your kids looking at you like, "What?" That is sweet!
Great layout too by the way! 30 minutes? Show off. ;)

Getting mushy over a kid's book... blaming it on PMS - sure you are not pregnant? That would be the only time I would get all emotional and stuff...
You make me laugh -- even though you are crying.
I miss chatt'n with you girl...

Oh, that is one of my favourite children's books. I love it when I read it to my 2 year old at bedtime and he stretches his arms and legs along with little nutbrown hare, just beautiful.
