Ok...it's ben WAY too long. Instead if this Holiday Season being super productive and inspirational like it has in years past it has been the total opposite. As far as creating goes I have had nothing but starts and no finishes. Life took a big bite out of my creative sandwitch you know what I mean?
IT all started back before thanksgiving holiday. And by IT I mean the rain. Before we left for Kentucky to visit my husbands family over Thanksgiving. we decided to enjoy our heater. We hadn't had heat during the winter yet in this house. So that's two winters. We got our unit fixed during the fall this year and in fixing the cooler it also fixed the heat. Anyhoo...i digress. Ok...so we turned on the heat a couple of days before we left because it was starting to get 'wintery' out and I began to notice that the windows would be foggy. Not just in near the sills but the whole window. I didn't think anything of it at all. I just thought that it was a cute, winter, country children book thing going on right? WRONG. The next day...condensation. Again. Not thinking to much of it. It got to be a little much. I could never see out of any of my windows so I wiped them down periodically. But that didn't do much got. It was like I couldn't get rid of the water. But still, ignoring my intuition, I just never made a deal of it. After Thanksgiving holidays and us running the heat again, the problem got worse. Now water was literally dripping from the window sills. I started seeing little water droplets on my kitchen ceiling close the the walls. When I went to bed at night the sheets always seemed a bit damp. But STILL, I never thought there was a problem. To make a long story as short as I possibly can. Our house ended up being one big giant rain forest. When we finally were able to get our insurance company to get someone out here. Our humidity in the house was at 86% our walls were at 99 and 78 %. Our carpet was in the high 80's. You guys it was so bad we had water dripping from all ceiling in the house. Our fans warped and drooped. Our front door looked like it was catching fire. The paint was bubbling on it so bad and it swelled so much that we had to use our butts to force it to shut. Our blinds stayed dripping wet. My room and the girls room had to be abandoned. Everything in our room got moldy. I had to throw away almost everything .I saved the mattress and the bed frame. Our night stand has to go. The girls...everything in there closet had to go. Kody's pillows and toys in his closet had to go. All their toys....OMGoodness. The elder kids still stay in kody's room. DerRick, the boys and I stay in the living room. Every night I had water dripping from the ceiling onto my blankets I was sleeping under. I would hear drips in the middle of the night on a constant basis. Everyday I had to keep putting blankets and sheets in the dryer. My Wacom tablet stopped working. It just got too damp. So that's tablet NO. 2 that's gone bye bye. No one, not the insurance company who seen the disk photos, the adjuster or the 'heater' guys could believe it. So...what happened? We had a humidifier attached to our H-VAC unit and any time we turned on our heater, even just a little bit, it would blow humid air into our home. That was the main problem. Then some hose somewhere got a hole in it an Niagra Falls was going to town in our basement. Water pouring out like mad. Fire hasard, sky rocketing water bill, no hot water for us....a NIGHTMARE!!!!!!! We got that fixed at our expense. The insurance company will handle the rest. We are still awaiting what the next step is. I am advised to keep inventory of all loses. The 'heater' guys came in and put dehumidifyers in so we are dry, we have hot water again and working heat. They said good thing we kept wiping and trying to get in under control because it could have been a lot worse. The mold could of got out of control. Now we have to get the walls inspected and see what the true damage is. They might have to put us up in hotel if it's a health issue. My main concern through all of this was to keep the kids warm, dry and healthy as best as I could. After they poke, prod, replace carpet and fix ceiling damages etc. I will get to work on making the girls room and my room livable again.
Whew...so yeah, I haven't really touched my computer for some time now ^_^ I looked at DerRick and said. "Dude...this is happening for a reason. I just don't know what that reason is yet." He said "It's to let us know that we can get through anything." Maybe he's right.
So on a crafty note I know the holidays are in full force and I know you guys are sending each other cards and this + that's. Mucho thank you's are to be said so I put together this brush pack to hep you do just that. There are 18 in this set.

I had some card ideas to make with these but aparently my printer won't work now. Dude it keeps saying "Clear Paper Jam and then Press OK." I'm like um???? There is no paper in you!!!!! Oh man. Technical difficulties once again. But just imagine the cute little cards you can make with these :)
So I'm having issues with the house my tablet, and printer yes. I also had a bit of trouble with my hair. I haven't been taking the greatest care of it. I'm just so stressed and busy. It really took a tole on my hair. My ends needed to go. So I took my hair in a ponytail and took some craft scissors and chopped it off! Oh yeah. Sure did and it felt great. I'm just over it ya know? Well yeah, It was pretty long and even thought my bad ends were go I needed it to be the right way. So I went to Walmart and walked in there looking too crazy and asked if they could manage it. The stylist looked at me like a deer in headlights too....Ha hAAAAAAAAA....it was too funny! I had to tell her what I did. And then she went to work.

That's me on the way to the 'sto' lol. It's short but I love it! Anyhooo...I better go. Babies need loving ^_^ I will be back later with a tip and some inspiration for ya.
Stay safe.

"First of all, love your new seasonal blog header! Soooooo pretty =)...when I am in a rut, I honestly just start something. Yup, I just start---usually that means looking through my photos and choosing some to scrap. I do have a folder on my hard drive of saved images that inspire me, tho, and often I look through that, too. =)"
Thanks M for sharing! And you will get my next digital kit! Here is a sneak peek...
